OK, I have now had some time to get this page ready.  

This is a picture of the basic gear I carry in my pack. I realize it is a little dark to see everything very well but starting from back to front left to right here is what is there:

Back Row:  Yellow Patagonia polar fleece sweat shirt, green Gregory Whitney Backpack

Next Row: Machete, tent poles, North Face Cat's Meow Sleeping bag, bright red extra clothes stuff sack (three pairs socks, gaiters extra thermal shirt), water/Gatorade bottles and Gregory mirage hydration bladder (110 oz.)

Middle Row: Tent Ground sheet, Tent, Tent Rain fly, tent stakes, kitchen kit (light blue bag with spoon, knife, fork, salt/pepper sugar, camp suds, two towels, and matches), 1.5 liter cook pot with lid, MSR Superfly canister stove, two canisters of fuel, dark green food stuff sack (hot chocolate, oatmeal, two freeze dried meals, instant soup) mosquito coil
